Privacy Policy
Founder Clarity (clarity.thegoodone.me) is run by The Good One, a sole proprietorship owned by Bhavish Rakesh Shah and registered in India as an MSME under Udyam (registration number UDYAM-MH-18-0555560). In this policy, “we” means The Good One.
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use Founder Clarity, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Account details
Your name and email address. If you sign in with Google or LinkedIn, we also receive your profile photo and your account’s language and region setting. We don’t receive your LinkedIn connections, posts, messages, or work history, or anything from your Google account beyond these details.
Your conversation
The answers you give in the chat, and the Clarity Map report we produce from them.
Your website
If you share a website address during the conversation, we read that public page once to give our strategist context about your business.
Payment information
Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. We never see or store your card or bank details. We only receive confirmation that a payment was made, and a payment reference.
Technical data
Basic, anonymous performance measurements through our hosting provider, and the security logs needed to protect accounts, such as records of failed sign-in attempts.
How we use it
- To run your session and write your Clarity Map.
- To keep your account, conversations, and reports available to you.
- To keep the service secure and prevent misuse.
- To reply when you contact us.
- To follow up about our services. You can ask us to stop at any time.
We don’t sell your personal data, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
We use these providers to run Founder Clarity:
- Vercel: website hosting
- Neon: data storage
- Google (Gemini): the AI model that writes questions and reports
- Dodo Payments: checkout and payments
- Google and LinkedIn: only if you choose to sign in with them
Your data may be processed outside India by these providers, under their own security and privacy commitments.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to secure sign-in. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account, conversations, and reports for as long as your account is active, or until you ask us to delete them. Payment records may be kept longer where the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you
- correct anything that’s wrong
- delete your data
- give you a copy of your data

These rights apply under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. If you’re in the UK or EU, you also have rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
